West Midlands Police Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Survey
Hello, I am Superintendent Simon Inglis, and I am the West Midlands Police lead for Antisocial Behaviour (ASB). Can I firstly say ‘thank you’ for taking a few minutes to answer the questions in this survey. I appreciate how busy we all are these days and so the survey has intentionally been kept short, but it really will make a difference.
The survey has been designed to capture your views and your personal experience of antisocial behaviour. Our plans are constantly evolving and your replies will have a direct impact on how we develop them in the future.
Thank you once again for taking the time to complete the survey and you will be provided details at the end as to how we can keep you updated on progress.

Antisocial Behaviour Definition
Antisocial behaviour (ASB) is conduct that has caused – or is likely to cause – harassment, alarm or distress to any person.
There are three main types of ASB:
- Personal - incidents that deliberately target an individual or group of people (intimidation or harassment)
- Nuisance - incidents affecting the community, rather than an individual victim (drug or substance misuse; vehicle-related nuisance; or animal-related problems)
- Environmental - incidents where individuals or groups impact their wider surrounding (criminal damage or vandalism; littering)
Have you experienced any form of antisocial behaviour in your local area in the last 12 months? *
